President and CEO of Matt-A-Graphics Inc. (MGi), a marketing and communications company (est. 1991) providing SWOT/FOOM analysis, information audit and organization, strategic content development (operational, organizational, financial, and marketing); graphic corporate image; information packaging and promotion (print, web, video, signage, specialty advertising), search marketing; social media; integrated CRM solutions; corporate gmail product suite setup and training; corporate VOIP systems; policies and procedure development; and more.

Co-founder, president, and CEO of this CSA-approved, Canada/U.S. bonded, high-value, high-risk (HVHR) carrier and freight broker providing full truckload (FTL) services to UPS-SCS and other North American clients (2005-2010). Roles included: financing (working capital and AR factoring); human resource management; administrative structure assembly (financial, operational and organizational); print/web marketing collateral; application/maintenence of CDN/US authorities; document production (job descriptions, staff procedure Wiki, forms, contracts, driver manuals, etc.). At time of partner buyout in 2010, this 55 employee/owner-operator conglomerate had sales approaching 10 million in just 6 years of operation.

The goal of NBB is to spark global innovation in modern adolescent sex education, life skills adoption, and social-relational mental health support through a shared, dynamic global platform. Unleashing the world’s most repressed discussion on the planet’s favorite topic, NBB promotes a new generational paradigm where: education and tolerance supersede ignorance and fear; gender identity, sexual orientation, and sexually transmitted infections are addressed without stigma; sexual pleasure is promoted; unwanted pregnancy avoided; respect and communication prioritized; opposing views of other cultures and religions understood and valued; the impact of poverty on sexual health and domestic violence understood; and promotion of gratuitous violence towards women in any form outlawed with equal disdain to human slavery in the United States in 1865.

Inventor of the Alpha-Slips compact disc organization system sold in Canada and the U.S.A. (2002-2005). Manufactured using U.V. silk-screened ink on premium styrene plastic to resist fading and scratching, the Alpha-Slips system was comprised of a Starter Pack (A to Z, Soundtracks and Various Artists), with Theme, Genre and Artist Slips each sold separately. Pioneered first Marketing department for this independent corporation serving four campuses in both official languages (1988-1990). Achievements include: first departmental budget encompassing new tools and service promotion channels for Revenue Operations, Programming, and Athletics divisions; conception, writing and production supervision of Algonquin’s first student information-daytimer (‘Insta-Guide’ editions 1, 2 & 3) and new, bi-weekly college newsletter ‘Info-Connection’; creation of ‘G-Force’ in-house banner service; implementation of first college-wide billboard regulation system; introduction of in-house desktop publishing; co-management of 300 student information dissemination system; orientation lectures; college committees, policies, procedures and job descriptions for 5 support personnel. Organized by Matt from 2005 to 2013, Ottawa’s Great Pumpkin Charity Ball (GPB) is an integrated community initiative that has raised $80,000 for the Canadian Cancer Society, Canadian Adaptive Snowsports, and affiliate charities since 2005. Held on the first Friday that kicks off Ottawa’s Halloween party season, this highly anticipated, 750 guest, sell-out fundraiser at St. Brigid’s Centre for the Arts is made possible with volunteer labour from local university sororities and fraternities.

Humor City is a hilarious board game idea that uses punchline joke questions and answers (organized by category into separate decks) as the primary mechanic to extend play. If a player doesn’t know the answer, at least their turn always ends with a good laugh. Best thing about this company was the logo. First initiative back from mini-retirement, incorporated May 3, 2018, Water Command Management Ltd. was intended to excel as a one-stop provider of fluids management field personnel and support services to leading energy producers throughout Western Canada. What actually transpired was more like an episode from PULP FICTION. You gotta know when to holdem', know when to foldem'. Sorry about everything Eric. I miss you buddy. START AGAIN.
