Older novice users embracing today's technology often end up overwhelmed and in a total ball of confusion. Instead of enhancing productivity, communication, collaboration, and self-directed learning, those with a bad setup and poor grasp of fundamentals get whacked with viruses, identity theft, ransomware, catastrophic data loss, frustrating downtime, and more.

Apple is by far the ideal platform for non-technical people who want to spend more time using technology than fixing it. Apple invented the graphical user interface (folders and icons you can drag and drop and organize) which was later copied (to some degree) by Microsoft (Windows).
