Humor City Issues to Fix
This section is dedicated to documenting issues for “best practice” solutions determined through play testing.
Current Issues
Play Time
- Target playtime objective for 4 players is 2-3 hours
- Play action streamlining is required
Road System
- ISSUE: whenever a penalty has a shotgun removing friend(s) from player vehicles, proper strategy is to alway remove the friend from the slums to force the player to return there. SOLUTION: Since this places the player farthest distance from the highway on ramp, to help expedite exit to cottage country, does Humor City need an “underground tunnel” from the Slums to the Burbs (or other location)?
- ISSUE: should acceleration and or deceleration squares be used (or too complicated)?
Knock Knock Cards
- Current penalty and bonus ideas are mostly placeholders in need of new angles for improvement.
- Red cards are played immediately while purple cards are held for future use. Should all cards be red? Should all cards be purple?
- Players are forgetting to use their purple cards. Should they be held face up?
Bank Machines
- Should maximum withdrawal amount each turn be capped at first amount over $1000?
Cops
- Plus one to all rolls
- Acceleration squares
Complications
- Potholes
- Crazy guy with handgun
- Lost wallet
